We are an 3D animation company operating out of Australia and China.We need a creative/stylish but basic web site. We need to show off our past and current projects and to attract new clients.
The site needs to be appear simple without too many showy animated graphics so it will not hamper load times. We will some text outlining our work past and present as well as our expertise and we would also have a number (perhaps 20) mid to high resolution stills from our work as well as a number of work in progress examples.
As we need to show number of videos to demonstrate our portfolio and seeing as we would like load times to be kept short we don't want to over do the other content on the page.
A nice entry page with styish animated graphics might help in this regard and then once entering the site perhaps a single simple animated or non animated graphic per page would be sufficient.
We do not need to conduct e-commmerce, its really just an advertisment and company profile with contact details etc.
We would need to go live in 3-4 weeks. I have 90% of the content ready to go, we just need to work with you to settle on the desired style of the pages and the interactivity.

I like the simple animation on the text and entry pages as well as the borders and the way the images appear on screen once inside the site itself.
