1) Like Facebook, Friendster, and MySpace, I would like to have a website created for a non-profit organization I have started. I would not want as many features are Facebook, but I would like the social networking aspect and would like make the website very cross-searchable by different criteria. For users to join the website, the must gain permission from a registered user of the site.
2) No e-commerce needed at this time. It is strictly NON-PROFIT.
3) It is in the planning stages now and I would like to roll it out within the next 6 months.
4) Website will make use of databases or lists that self-populate when users enter information.
5) As for budget, it depends on how much funding I receive as a non-profit. Initially, I am looking in the 1000 - $2000 range, but presume it might cost more. I am open to creative billing structures where perhaps my organization can pay as the website develops/grows.
6) I must OWN everything for the site including IP, logos, etc.
7) I anticipate having 500K to 1M+ useres in the first-year and for it to grow from there.
