   Register As A Provider

Developreneurs welcomes applications from highly qualified providers who excel in both their area of expertise and customer services. Requiring providers to possess high performance qualifications is to be expected, but Developreneurs puts an extra emphasis on customer service, especially provider availability.

Companies interested in joining Developreneurs need to completely read, understand and accept the Providers Terms of Service. It is extremely important to understand the payment and project notification policies.

After reviewing the Terms of Service, if your web development company has a strong, verifiable portfolio and excels in customer service, please fill out the Service Providers Registration Form.

Service Providers Registration Form Explanations

Both the company name and contact name will be at the bottom of the bid notifications, as well as listed on the main company profile (see example). Please be sure to list the individual in your company who will be doing the majority of the correspondence with both buyers and the Developreneurs administration services.

On the city state and country fields, if there is a problem of any kind, please email Customer Service and we will make the appropriate corrections.

Services You Provide: Please select all services which apply. Once your account is approved there will be a further breakdown of categories for website design, graphic design, marketing and programming services to assist buyers with finding companies for a specific type of project.

General Info and Areas of Focus: The two main sections of your company profile (see example). Because there are no links to outside company websites, this information is extremely important for buyers interested in hiring your company.

Business Policies: Another section on your company profile that outlines payment services, deposit percentages, etc.

Portfolio Examples: List the URL's of 4 projects you have completed. For companies who do website design we prefer the actual website. For companies who only do graphic design or programming, links to your portfolio examples will be sufficient.

If you do not have a comprehensive company description or business policy outline available, once you have been approved, you can log in at any time to modify your company information. However, a good description is extremely helpful in the application process.

Provider services will review your application and give you a reply within 48 hours. The confirmation email will contain your login information, along with links to the Provider Terms of Service and additional helpful information.

   Create Your Portfolio

The portfolio is designed to provide as much information about your company as possible for prospective buyers (see example). The main company page contains a profile with general information such as company description, specialized services and business policies.

The next section of the portfolio contains links to specific projects your company has created (see example). The project examples include a title, project summary, graphic image of the project, and a link to launch the project in a new window if it is a website.

The last section of your portfolio has links to the ten most recent projects you have bid on. We added the function based on buyer feedback requesting the ability to see other projects providers had been on.

Providers have asked about linking directly to their own website portfolios to save time maintaining a second one. Outside links was the initial policy, however, many providers were posting false bids simply to display their company name, requiring Developreneurs to remove all outside links.

   Review Project Requests

The moment a request is posted to the board, a copy of the request is sent instantly to all providers qualified for that type of request. The instant notification ensures that providers will be aware of new projects as soon as possible.

While the notification service is designed to assist providers, for those who do not wish to receive any notifications can deactivate them on the main admin panel. Providers are also able to select what types of projects they are interested in. A provider who only does website and graphic design can set the system to only receive those types of projects. Providers busy on large or long term projects can deactivate all notifications until they are available.

The instant email bid notification also allows certain information to be passed on to providers while restricting it from the public project board. If a buyer gives a website URL as a design style example, that information is forwarded to the provider in the bid notification, but the URL is not displayed on the public project board.

All restricted information is limited primarily to website URL's for example purposes. Contact information including phone numbers and email addresses are never passed on to providers. Buyers wishing to give providers their contact information can do so once they receive the bids.

Before a provider can bid on a project, there must be at least four projects properly listed with images and descriptions in your portfolio. We strongly recommend and prefer at least eight projects.

   Submit Your Bids

To bid on projects you must first login. On the main admin page click the link titled "View Projects". On the next page will be the project board listing the most recent projects. Click on the title of a project to view the description and current bids. To bid on the project click the "Submit A Bid" link at the top of the page just above the bid description.

The next page will list the project description for reference, and contains two fields. Enter the numeric amount you wish to bid on the project. You are only allowed to enter numbers, and the amount must be the full bid amount for the project. Hourly bids are not allowed as a main bid, however, you can explain an hourly rate in the second field where you enter your bid description.

When buyers do not post enough information to make an accurate bid, submit a ballpark estimate, state is as such, and request additional information. Once both fields are filled out properly, click the "Submit Your Bid" button at the bottom of the form. Once your bid has been submitted successfully, click the link on the next page titled "Return To The Project Board". You will return to the same page the project you just bid on is located.

When placing a bid you do not need to post any contact information or sign the bid because the system enters it automatically. Below is an example bid displaying the contact information at the bottom.

Although Developreneurs has certain contact information restrictions to prevent abuse, we try to give the buyer and provider every means of communication available. On the initial email bid the buyer has the provider's email address, phone number, and a link to their portfolio.

Once a buyer responds to a bid either by phone or email, the provider is allowed to communicate with the buyer in whatever means necessary, including a link back to their company website. However, no contact information is allowed in the initial bid.

   Project Completion And Payment

Once a buyer selects a provider to build a project, all agreements, payments, and communications are solely between buyer and provider, although we strongly recommend a contract for all services.

Service providers must notify Developreneurs as soon as a project is contracted. For successfully completed projects Service Providers agree to pay a commission fee of 5% within 10 business days.

Providers are not required to pay the 5% until the project is completed, however, if a provider contracts a project and does not notify Developreneurs, their account is subject to termination.

Providers are not responsible for paying a percentage on any ongoing fees such as hosting, domain name registration, updates, later work with the client, etc. You are only responsible for a payment of 5% on the initial project cost.

For marketing services that do not have an initial project fee, but instead charge a larger monthly rate, the 5% commission is required for the first 12 months. For example, if a buyer agrees to pay an SEO $200 a month for 12 months to optimize and maintain their site, the fee owed to Developreneuers is $120 (5% of $2400). If the provider wishes to break it up into two payments, one at the beginning, and one in 6 months, that is fine, but they must notify Developreneurs with the initial payment.

Providers with questions regarding payment policies should contact Customer Service.
